Amazon’s Q Raises the Stakes Against Competitors

Amazon announced their latest in AI productivity services, Q, as a response to competing AI services released by Microsoft and Google. The AI program, which is named after Q from the James Bond series, is meant to assist users on Amazon’s AWS cloud services, assisting them with its various features and showing them how to operate functions that they may be unfamiliar with.

The program can also integrate into other software like Slack and Microsoft 365, offering users additional assistance on an enterprise level. Q begins with a trial period that, once over, switches over to a paid option for $20 a month per person. A slightly more expensive version that costs $25 per month can also be purchased for development teams that require additional assistance with computer code and design.
