Alogrand Releases AlgoKit for Web3 Development

Algorand’s new AlgoKit is here. The new development environment allows users to begin creating Dapps and protocols for the Algorand blockchain using either Mac OS or Windows.

The dev kit is the latest in web3 software being released to help onboard more users to blockchain networks, hoping developers can create new projects that will attract renewed interest in blockchain technology.

However, optimistic visions of a larger user base may remain on the sidelines for a little longer as fallout from the MyAlgo wallet hack is still ongoing. Earlier in the month, MyAlgo announced that 2,000 different wallets had been compromised resulting in the loss of 30 million ALGO.
