Avax Integrates Chainlink Functions on Fuji Testnet

The Avax team announced that they have integrated Chainlink Functions into their Avax Fuji Testnet which will allow developers to connect smart contracts to Web2 APIs. The new feature has the potential to improve web3 development exponentially as it opens up new ways for web2 tools like AI, social media, and cloud storage solutions to interact with the Avalanche blockchain

Chainlink, which focuses on providing off-chain data to blockchains, created the Functions platform as a way for web3 to continue innovating with tools and platforms that can’t easily migrate to decentralized environments yet.

While Functions is still in beta and available only for use on Avax’s testnet, developers are still encouraged to apply.
