‘Bitboy’ Fires Back at Harassment Allegations
MIAMI, FL – Crypto influencer Ben "Bitboy" Armstrong is set to appear before a Miami court next week to face allegations of harassment directed at class action attorney Adam Moskowitz and his law firm.
Armstrong is one of several online influencers named in a $1 billion class action lawsuit co-led by Moskowitz and attorney David Boies, alleging solicitation of unregistered securities in promoting the defunct cryptocurrency exchange FTX.
Armstrong has come out swinging against Moskowitz and his law firm on Twitter and is alleged to have made daily violent threats towards the lawsuit’s plaintiffs and counsel, including phone calls and emails.
Moskowitz has expressed safety concerns for himself and his colleagues, with Armstrong allegedly circulating their home addresses on Reddit.
The lawsuit claims FTX could not have become such a lucrative business without the massive impact of these influencers, who allegedly hyped the deceptive FTX platform for undisclosed payments ranging from tens of thousands of dollars to multimillion-dollar bribes.
