Coinbase Puts Pauses on Creator NFT Drops Program

Coinbase has announced that they will be pausing their Creator Drops NFT program to focus on “other tools.” The program was for allowing creators to pre-announce their NFT collections on the platform to help attract  awareness and interest in the project. While not specific, it appears that Coinbase is shifting their focus away from NFT for the time being to address more pressing matters.

In a subsequent tweet, the company said that they are still bullish on the future of NFTs, making it clear that they will not be removing their NFT marketplace despite lackluster sentiment in the market.
