Loopring Announces Staking for Layer 2

Loopring has just announced their latest plan to open up staking for layer 2 protocols on their blockchain network following a community vote that passed the proposed measure.

The team at Loopring plans to announce more features following the holiday season and implement staking into their roadmap, and it’s safe to assume that benefits to the network will include faster transaction times.

Many cryptocurrencies have been exploring the option of staking with Chainlink also opening up early access to their staking pool for node operators and early users.

It seems, following the FTX collapse, that more users are curious to explore decentralized options instead of risking their assets on exchanges.
