MetaMask Partners With PayPal For Direct Deposits

Metamask has announced a new partnership with PayPal that will allow users the ability to purchase Ether directly through the MetaMask Mobile App using PayPal.

The service, while exclusive to mobile users, is the next step in adoption for cryptocurrency as more major companies find new ways of bridging the gap between web2 and web3

However, experiences with crypto on mobile platforms has been widely criticized as unsafe because smartphones are capable of remembering private keys when they are entered.

MetaMask, one of the leading custodial wallets, has been building partnerships with other ecommerce companies such as Moonpay and Coinbase for similar services that send Ether directly to MetaMask wallets.
