Solana Adds Helium To Their Network To Support Saga

Solana announced that Helium, a popular blockchain network built around cellular activity, has fully migrated to the Solana network where it can exceed past performances and become a more robust protocol for users to connect to the internet.

The merger comes shortly after Solana Mobile announced the release date of their new Solana Saga smartphone which has been in development for over a year. According to the Solana team, Helium was at the announcement and is offering a free month of service via the Helium network to early buyers of the Saga

The price of Helium has struggled recently since its highs in 2021 but is showing new growth since the announcement early today as the price rose from $1.69 to $1.79.
