Uniswap is Joining Polkadot After Community Vote

Uniswap is coming to the Polkadot network following an announcement made by the Polkadot team. Uniswap, one of the largest DeFi platforms available in web3, brings a new level of financial services to the blockchain by adding additional liquidity across the network. With its addition, the Polkdot ecosystem is expected to expand as Uniswap’s protocol creates new opportunities for Dapp development.

Moonbeam, a layer 1 parachain, is being called on to support the arrival of Uniswap. It offers a suite of features including EVM compatibility and cross-chain integration to create a smooth interoperable experience for users. After a year of successful growth, the parachain was approved by a governance vote to support Uniswap’s arrival.
