Uniswap Announces New Mobile Wallet

Uniswap announced a new hot wallet for mobile users. The wallet is being promoted as a self-custodial wallet so users will have full control over their liquidity without interference from Uniswap or their personal smartphones, leading the way towards a more mobile-friendly ecosystem.

The wallet is fully compatible with the Ethereum mainnet and will have additional support for other networks including Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism as well as most Ethereum layer 2 blockchains.

However, the wallet also allows for seed phrases to be encrypted and stored on iCloud where they can be recovered if needed, but this could lead to unknown issues in the future with large amounts of seed phrases being stored on a centralized server.
