ShitBeast and the Shitverse: More than a joke

A single outhouse - the trio hides behind a tree, afraid of what’s inside

The current degen season driving the NFT market has led to a number of bizarre and random NFT collections.

Since the initial free mint of Goblintown.wtf, NFT projects have taken a less-is-more approach to their collections by not releasing a roadmap, having no discord server, and hosting Twitter spaces that don’t provide new information.

With the crypto market dropping heavily since early May 2022, this type of marketing strategy which lacks transparency has become more popular as the risk of long-term holding becomes harder to take.

One of the most successful projects to follow this trend, called ill poop it nft, has slowly begun developing towards a metaverse called the Shitverse which has drawn a significant amount of attention because of their vulgar artwork and well-developed technology.

Shitlab NFT Collections:

  1. Ill poop it NFT

This is the flagship token for the shitverse and what originally started the entire project. The NFT depicts feces in an art style that is strikingly similar to the goblintownt.wtf color palette.

With speculation about when the project was first conceived and developed, the fact that their artwork is so similar to the goblins means that the team at Shitlab was able to put together an incredibly detailed metaverse in a small amount of time.

Since mint, the collection has risen from a low floor price below .1 Eth to above 1 Eth where it has stabilized and held its value for a number of weeks. The fact that this token has been able to keep such a high price in current market conditions shows that the community behind this project is strong and willing to wait for further developments.

2. ShitBeast

Upon burning the ill poop it nfts, users can recieve a new token called the ShitBeast which is an amalgimation of different toilet based imagery.

While the artwork depicts unpleasant traits, it is still well done. There is a strong variance of layers to the project, making the different tokens all look as unique as they are.

The floor price on these tokens has been strong, but a lot more volatile than the ill poop it nft collection, ranging between .35 and .65 Eth on most days

3. Pixelverse Poops

Not much is known about the pixelated version of the ill poop it nft, but they have held a stable floor price hovering around the .35 Eth mark for a while now.

With so many new announcements coming out from Shitlab, it is thought that these pixelated poop nfts will be used for some sort of arcade cabinet style gaming application that is rumored to be coming out soon.

Shitlab NFT Utility Tokens:

One core aspect of the shitlab creations is how the team is incorporating various different NFTs to create new tokens. The team has crafted a system which requires burning different tokens with the ill poop it nfts.

  1. ShitPlunger

The Shitplunger was the first utility token released by the Shitlab team and was used in conjunction with the ill poop it nfts to create the pixelated poop collection.

Since the tokens were released, they have held a stable floor price above .3 Eth. While there’s little reason to hold the shitplungers without having the original collection, the stable floor price still makes it a viable token for flipping.

2. No Shit Zone

The newest entry in the Shitverse collection is the No Shit Zone token which resembles bathroom cleaner and will supposedly change the Shitbeast tokens drastically into a collection of fantasy inspired tokens.

These new fantasy tokens have no resemblance to the fecal imagery of the primary collection and will be used as part of the Shitverse game

The De-Generations: S Metaverse Game:

One of the most exciting developments in the Shitverse has been the recent announcement that Shitlabs is creating a game for their tokens. They have partnered with BinaryX to develop the platform which has drawn the attention of Binance as well.

The game hasn’t been completely explained yet, but the team at Shitlab has slowly provided their community with sneak peeks into the project to keep them interested.

With so much effort being put into the game by Shitlab, their partnership with BinaryX, and support from Binance, there is a chance that De-Generation: S could be the blockchain game that finally kicks off Gamefi.

$Shit Tokenomics:

To power all of this, the team at Shitlab introduced a new token called $Shit. While the token has a high supply, it will become more useful in the future as the Shitverse and their De-Generation: S game become more fleshed out.
