SUMA Wealth is the NFT Driven Financial Education Certificate Program

SUMA Wealth is offering a new program in conjunction with Arizona State University which will offer an effort to close the Latino wealth gap. SUMA’s main goal is to uproot the Latino Wealth Gap by introducing accurate financial understanding.

"We're meeting young Latinos where they live – online," said Beatríz Acevedo, CEO and co-founder of SUMA Wealth. "We've created an in-culture digital campus in our SUMAverse where they can connect with each other, learn about finance, and earn perks and privileges." She added, "Earning later means learning now. We're building the future of financial education as we build the future of financial technology. This is just the first of our tools to do that."

This program will offer certificates of completion which could unlock added classes from SUMA’s educational structure This has been added on to its already existing Dinero Bootcamp, which is of course free of charge.

Going back to financial understanding, it’s really about trying to relay the message of how they can save money for their families, how to properly invest and be supportive in their community. We can see the importance of this as just in the last decade or so Latinos have been paramount as their consumption has risen almost 50%.

"This is personal for me," said Mary Hernandez, COO and Chief Growth Officer of SUMA Wealth. "Like tens of millions of others from our community, my parents were immigrants who came here to work hard and achieve the American dream. As a kid, I helped them translate, negotiate, read mortgage docs and to this day continue to help them with their finances. SUMA exists to serve everybody in the same situation." She added, "SUMA is a place where Latinos belong, built by us for us."

This NFT driven program is SUMA’s call to action to continue providing a stepping stone for Latinos to become more and more financially dependable, through its technological tools and fin-tech virtual experiences.
