USA - Domino's Pizza Inc., the leading global pizza company, and Microsoft have united to pioneer the future of pizza ordering and store operations using advanced AI technology and the formidable capabilities of cloud computing. Domino’s has already been experimenting with GenAI to improve store operations. It has shown that AI can help store managers save time and efforts on daily tasks, including inventory management, ingredient ordering and staff scheduling.

For Microsoft, it is also a pivotal aspect of the collaboration that utilizes Azure OpenAI for enhancing the customer experience.

"We are thrilled to co-innovate with Microsoft using Azure AI technology to advance the future of pizza ordering and store technology powered by secure, connected data and simplified processes," said Kelly Garcia, Domino's executive vice president – chief technology officer. "Our collaboration over the next five years will help us serve millions of customers with consistent and engaging ordering experiences, while supporting our corporate stores, franchisees, and their respective team members with tools to make store operations more efficient and reliable."

Looking ahead, Domino's envisions streamlining pizza preparation and elevating quality control through advanced predictive tools. The objective is to design the generative AI assistant to free store managers and allocate more time towards enhancing team member experience and delivering exceptional customer service.
