Aptos Labs Joins the Blockchain Association

Aptos Labs has announced that they are joining the Blockchain Association, a consortium of blockchain developers and business leaders that advocate for the responsible use and implementation of web3 technology and regulations.

The Aptos team stated that they support regulations and wish to work with regulators on a variety of issues instead of actively working against them. The move falls in line with Coinbase which has begun doing the same thing with its own advocacy platform for web3 and blockchain technology.

Aptos, which is a relatively new blockchain network, has grown quickly in size since it began in October with major partnerships and deals with web2 businesses. Their push towards increased regulations is likely to help them achieve their goals as more corporations partner with the Aptos team.
