Do Kwon Secures Supervised Bail Release

PODGORICA, ME – According to a court notice disclosed Friday, Terraform Labs founder Do Kwon and executive Han Chang-joon will be released on supervised bail after their attorneys proposed a $437,000 sum to secure their discharge.

After traveling with falsified documents, the pair have been in custody in Montenegro since March. Defense attorneys also requested the charges be dropped, but the court will move forward with the forgery trial set for June 16.

As legal proceedings continue, the court accepted the proposal, subjecting both Kwon and Chang-joon to strict surveillance and confinement within their apartment. The measure aims to ensure their presence throughout the trial. While Kwon’s legal team maintained that their wives would cover the legal bail amount, the prosecution maintained that Kwon is still a flight risk.
