Moonbirds Adds Exclusive Playlists to Spotify

Moonbirds announced an exclusive partnership with Spotify, experimenting with NFT utilities such as token-gated playlists that holders can access. Members of the Moonbirds community have already curated a playlist called “Sounds of a Digital Renaissance” that they believe will help inspire more creative thought.

With additional support, there is a possibility that these token-gated playlists could help shine a spotlight on upcoming artists by exposing their music to large groups like the Moonbirds community which is connected to PROOF as well. 

Spotify has expressed a lot of interest in web3 since 2021 by seeking out employees with web3 skills and creating other exclusive partnerships with NFT collections in the past. As music NFTs continue to develop into a more cohesive product, Spotify’s position in web3 could hold a strong advantage over the rest of the music industry.
