Ledger is Bringing Cosmos to Their Live App

Ledger announced a new integration with the Cosmos network, bringing 3 new blockchains to the Ledger Live app. The blockchains - Onomy, Quicksilver, & Persistence - will provide users with new DeFi and staking features on Cosmos.

The announcement comes two weeks after Ledger’s Recover feature caused massive pushback from the crypto community and their customers. The feature, meant to be a backup service for users, was viewed as a major threat and caused sales from competitor Trezor to jump significantly

It’s unclear what the future of Ledger holds after it obliterated customer trust and brand loyalty. Small additional like Cosmos to Ledger Live might be exciting for fans of the network, but the larger Ledger customer base is already migrating to other cold wallet products.
