Polygon Sees Adoption in Local Indian Government

Polygon is making headlines after a local government in India adopted the network to help create verifiable certificate documents for graduates from Karnataka Skill Development Corporation (KSDC). The implementation of Polygon in KSDC allows students to acquire documentation about their graduation that is tamper-proof, a significant advantage for citizens in Karnataka needing to prove their education and skills to potential employers.

To do so, Karnataka’s local government has partnered with LegitDoc, a blockchain-based certification system on Polygon created by Zupple Labs. Students can use its Verifier Dapp on Polygon to freely mint verification. Employers are also encouraged to begin using the web3 service so that they can find the best candidates for hire.
